Reference: OHV Legislation

During the last moments of the 2002 regular session of the Florida Legislature, we were fortunate to get several key parts of our proposed Off-Highway Vehicle Recreation Program attached as an amendment to House Bill 1681, Relating to Agriculture and

Consumer Services. This bill, with some of our provisions included, was passed by both the House and the Senate, and has been sent to Governor Bush for his signature. The Governor has 21 days to sign or veto the bill. If Governor Bush signs the bill, it will become part of Florida law.

Please contact him to express your support for the bill. Support the title fee as a means to fund the program and to improve law enforcement efforts to recover stolen motorcycles and A TVs. Ask him to use your letter of support to urge Governor Bush to sign the bill.
