FTR ANNOUNCES ANSWER/MSR SPONSORSHIP

The Florida Trail Riders would like to thank Moose Racing for an outstanding contingency award program the riders of FTR have enjoyed for the past two seasons. Moose has given FTR and it’s riders over $73,000 in Moose Buck certificates along with many dollars of product, course markings, etc. over the 2003-2004 season and over $100,000 over the 2004-2005 season. Unfortunately, Moose has told us that they will be unable to continue the program exactly as in the past.

Because FTR is the largest organization of its kind in the United States, we have gained the attention other companies interested in promoting their products with our riders. For the 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 seasons, we are proud to announce that Answer/MSR will be our sponsor!

Registration forms and Program Rules will be posted on this site very soon. I will also make sure that a supply will be available in the magazine and at the events.

You will see that Answer/MSR pays through 5th place on a different points scale than Moose has done. Before the Boo Birds start singing, note that the new program Moose offered us only paid to 3rd place and to a maximum payout per individual rider, no matter how many series and classes you rode, of $200 at the end of the year. Answer/MSR has no maximum limit but, you must buy a set of gear and register for each class for which you wish to receive Answer/MSR Race Bucks. All the top 5’s you achieve will count towards Answer/MSR Race Bucks. Drops will not be deducted.

Additionally, Answer/MSR is going to offset some significant expenses at our awards banquets for the next two seasons. This will help not only the riders, but the bottom line of FTR.
