RiderDown Foundation Assists Injured Riders

The RiderDown Foundation, headquartered in Evergreen, Colorado, has recently been established to primarily assist injured off-road motorcyclists. The organization was founded by a group of businessmen from across the country, who are avid off road motorcycle riders themselves.

"All too often we have seen or read about fellow riders getting hurt and the stories of the additional trauma their families have to endure when trying to provide support for their loved ones," said Bruce Vermeulen, President of the non-profit group. "After a traumatic injury occurs, people can get overwhelmed with the seemingly never ending barrage of medical bills and related expenses that can result. It's understandable that their main focus is on the child/rider, but the snowball effect of these expenses is just devastating to the family. Finally, there is a place for people seeking help in managing the recovery process."

The RiderDown Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping off-road motorcyclists who have been injured while riding. Proceeds are used to provide assistance to the riders and their families when faced with medical expenses and related issues.

RiderDown has also recently launched a website: www.riderdown.org. The website includes information about the organization as well as comprehensive guidance and advice for families dealing with injuries as well as sponsor information.
