Motion made to adjourn, seconded, accepted at 8:10 pm.
The Proposals:
4 Stroke 250F added to Youth 13-15.
Rationale: Kawasaki is no longer importing the KX 125
into the US and, while unconfirmed, 2 other Japanese manufacturers
will not be importing 125s after the 2006 model year.
If they will no longer be available then we should not
require Juniors to find an old one. The purpose of my proposal
is to eliminate the dictum that the Juniors must ride 80's
or 125's.

Rule to be changed: Change to the current practice and
race format
Reason: FTR Motocross has grown to a
point where, in order to get all of the classes run and
provide the riders with
their money’s worth, the format needs to grow. This
proposal is being presented at this time so it may be voted
on and presented to the track owners for their feedback
on how this may effect cost.

This proposal is to change the following current rule:

General., 8. “There will be no FTR Hare Scramble and
FTR Motocross events scheduled on the same dates. FTR Enduros
and FTR Motocross may run on the same dates.”

A. General.
Delete #8 this would make #9 be #8, #10 would be #9 and so
on.
By doing this you are allowing the FTR Motocross program
to race on the same weekends as the Hare Scramble races.

Rule Clarification: Chapter X Motocross Scoring, Page
24, Section B
Insert – Change to line 4., Move line 4 to line
5.
Reason: To clarify to riders and scorekeepers what denotes
a DNS or DNF.
Rule inserted: Chapter X Motocross Scoring, Page 24, Section
B
Insert to line 4:
DNS (did not start) a rider that does not complete 1 lap
of a moto.
DNF (did not finish) a rider that does not complete half of
the scheduled laps of a moto.
Move line 4 to line 5.
Rule to be changed: Chapter III, Page 8, Section C – Rider
Classification
Line 1. Motocross Division/Class – insert +50 0-Open

Line 6. Motocross – insert 0-Open +50
Chapter XII – Motocross Championship Series Classes – insert
+50
Reason: The Vet classes are one of the fastest growing
segment of FTR Motocross. I feel that the addition of this
class will draw some of our fellow FTR members to the Motocross
events.
