Executive Committee Meeting

February 25, 2006

A meeting of the Florida Trail Riders Executive Committee was called to order at approximately 6:13 PM on February 25, 2006 at the Gatorback Hare Scramble. The President determined a quorum was present. Roll call was as follows:

Present:

President — Randy Faul
Vice President — Jim Wilder
Secretary — Tiffany St. John
Treasurer — Allen Pearce
Hare Scrambles Chairman — Joe Steidl
Motocross Chairman — David Hall
Quad Scrambles Chairman — Mark Campbell

Absent:

Enduro Chairman — Sam Mento

Minutes:

Dave Hall requested to move the location of the May 21, 2006 sanction from Waldo Motorsports, Waldo, Florida to Bithlo Motorsports, Bithlo, Florida. The motion passed unanimously.

Joe Steidl requested a sanction for Southwest Florida Trail Riders (SWFTR) on April 1st & 2nd, 2006. This would be a re-scheduling of their cancelled event. There is some question about landownership at the location requested. The committee will need documentation that the club is using only Seminole land or has permission from all land owners of the land being used for the event. SWFTR will be given until March 6, 2006 to provide the documentation. If documentation cannot be provided, then SADRA will be given the sanction date. The motion passed unanimously.

The Daytona Dirt Riders (DDR) property for the May 27th & 28th, 2006 Hare Scramble is currently wet. If DDR cannot have the race at that property, then Allen will look into the Mayo property.

Dan George requested an increase in the advertising rates for the magazine. There have been no increases for a very long time. He will also research advertising on the website. The motion passed unanimously.
