Unfinished Business

These items had been previously voted worthy of consideration and were published in the magazine. This was the second vote, to determine if they were to be voted in as rule changes.

1) There were two proposals regarding changing Worked Run credits. This would change Chapter VII, b9

Proposal A would change the points value for Worked Run credits to a points per day format The point values were 20 for Day 1-3 up to a maximum of 3 days and 60 points. It also allowed a second Worked Run, if it was for the FTR Benefit HS, but with a maximum point value of 50 (20,20,10).

The motion was defeated.

Proposal B was the same concept, except that the points values 25,25,and 10 points for the same maximum of 3 days. It also allowed a second Worked Run credit for the Benefit HS, with point values of 25 for 2 days max.

The motion was defeated.

2) There were two proposals regarding allowing 250 four strokes (250F’s) in the Junior Class(s) . This would change Chapter III, c1 and Chapter III, j6

Proposal A would allow 250F’s in the Junior A and B Classes.

The motion passed, to be affective at the start of the 2006/2007 season ,pending ratification by the BOD.

Proposal B , which would allow 250F’s only in Junior A, was not voted on, as Proposal A supersedes it.

3) There was a proposal made to omit Chapter VIII, b1 which states “ It is the Rider’s responsibility to keep track of their number of laps. It is not the responsibility of the promoter to tell them when they are finished” This is a Rulebook “clean up” issues as we no longer score by laps.

The motion passed. It is to be effective at the start of the 2006,2007 season, pending raification by the BOD.

4) A proposal was made to change the wording of Chapter VIII, c12, Vintage Technical Requirements

It states in part “…numbers are difficult to read or are not properly displaced” The proposal corrects that to read displayed.

The motion passed, to be effective for he 2006/2007 season, pending BOD ratificaion.

5) A proposal was made to change Chapter VI, c2 .

From
Sunday Race 1,row 4 Senior B, Super Senior B.
Row 5-Women A

To
Row 4 - Senior B
Row 5- Super Senior B, Women A

The motion passed, to be effective for the 2006/2007 season, pending BOD ratification.

New Business

1)Riders Tim Richmond(Senior A) and Bill Jones(A-200) petitioned the Committee to move from A to B division. In both cases the Committee determined there wasn’t enough available information to vote on these proposals. Both proposals were tabled, pending the riders appearing before the Committee and stating their cases.

2)There was a proposal made to change Chapter II,c1, j6, Chapter VI a13,c2, and Chapter VIII,b4 to add a 65C Class. This class would start on a new row (6),behind 65 B. The proposal also determined that the lower 50% scored of the 65B class, based on year end scores , would be eligible to move to 65C.

The Committee voted the proposal worthy of consideration. It will be published in the magazine, and voted on at the next HSC meeting.

3) There was a proposal made to change Chapter VIII, b4 . The proposal is to change the number plate backround color for AA Quad from white to red. The purpose is to accommodate the GNCC quad AA riders who race FTR HS, just as we did with the motorcycle AA class.

The motion was deemed worthy of consideration. It will be published in the Magazine for member consideration, and voted on at the next HSC meeting.
