MX Committee Meeting Minutes

January 27, 2007

Called to Order at 7:30p.m

Old Business

1. Addition of 150 4-Stroke to 85 classes. Second Vote 6-0 Passed.
2. Increase cc in the 125A,B,C and Youth classes to 145cc. Second Vote 6-0 Passed.
3. Clarification to rule book on what is a DNF ( Did Not Finish). Second Vote 6-0 Passed.

New Business

1. Proposal to add a 125 to Open 2-Stroke Class.

Reason — The 2-Stroke motorcycle is in decline. The 4-Stroke when introduced, a class was provided to help sales and development. This proposal is being submitted to help revive the 2-Stroke and help continue the legacy.

First Vote 5-1 Passed.

2. Discussion to retire the number 40 from the Plus 25, the conclusion that in the future we the committee would name the first event of each season the Robert Moody Memorial race. To do this we could better remember Robert where retiring his number may not be understood years from now.
