Executive Committee Meeting Minutes

September 26, 2007

A meeting of the Florida Trail Riders Executive Committee was called to order at approximately 8:00 p.m. on September 26, 2007 via teleconference. The president determined a quorum was present.

Roll call was as follows:

Present:
President — Randy Faul
Vice President — Jim Wilder
Secretary — Tiffany St. John
Treasurer — Allen Pearce
H/S Chairman — Joe Steidl
Motocross Chairman — Kevin Carr
Quad Chairman — Amanda Fronckowiak

Absent:
Enduro Chairman — Sam Mento

Dan George

I. Old Business

A Benefit Hare Scramble is still in the works. Land is still being looked into and dates are being discussed in the Spring.

II. New Business

A previous ruling by the Executive Committee stated that no FTR events could be held at the Hard Rock facility. The track owner has expressed a desire to make amends. After discussion, Randy Faul moved that FTR allow BSTR to host a Quad Scramble at the facility on a trial basis. The motion was seconded and called to a vote. 6 For and 1 abstained. Motion passed.

Randy Faul made a motion to make the following changes to the Quad Scramble schedule: BSTR moves from October 20 to December 1, SADRA moves from December 1 to November 3, and SWFTR moves from November 3 to October 20. The motion was seconded and passed unanimously.

Dan George presented a proposal from KTM World for a contingency program. The terms of the program contradict our current practices regarding privacy. The Executive Committee instructed Dan to decline the offer.

Joe Steidl updated the committee with information from his discussions with CFTR regarding issues from their recent event. He will be sending a letter to the club requesting that a representative address the issues. He will keep us informed of their response.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:45 p.m.
