Motocross Committee Meeting Minutes

September 29, 2007

The Motocross Committee meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm by Chairman Kevin Carr

The minutes from the previous meeting were read by Kevin Carr.

Debi Carr made a proposal to align the ages in motocross with the ages in the other FTR series. After discussion the proposal was amended to the following:

The amended proposal was deemed worthy of membership consideration. It will be printed in the magazine and voted on at the next meeting.

A proposal was made by Debi Carr to amend the current rules regarding Pee Wee rider parents.

Propose to strike the phrasing about parents on the track during competition due to track rules and increasing liability issues.

9. Peewee riders at certain tracks may compete on specially prepared Peewee tracks that are separate from the main track. Peewee riders are not allowed to ride on the track unless accompanied by parent or guardian. During the Peewee races, only one parent is allowed to be on the track for assistance.
