Old Business

1) Reintegration of the quad classes, as published in the April 2009 magazine. The proposal passed, to be effective next season, pending BOD ratification.

2) Peewee C advancement, as published in the April 2009 magazine. Chapter VII., C., 5 states, “The Hare Scrambles Committee reserves the right to adjust or refine the Advancement Points System, by majority vote, as the need arises.” Because this is a Peewee issue, it was recommended that we publish this proposed change in the magazine, vote on it a second time and implement this next season. This was that second vote, and the proposal passed, effective next season.

3) Sam Mento and Mark Borderlon presented a proposal to add an Evolution C Class, as published in the April 2009 magazine. The proposal was deemed worthy of membership consideration and was published in the magazine. This was the second vote, and the proposal passed. It will become effective next season, pending BOD ratification.

4) Allan Santor presented a proposal to add an Evolution Senior class, as published in the April 2009 magazine. The proposal was deemed worthy of membership consideration, and was published in the magazine. The proposal passed, effective next season, pending BOD ratification.

5) Mark Bordelon presented a proposal changing the Sunday Race one schedule, as published in the April 2009 magazine. The proposal was deemed worthy of membership consideration and was published in the magazine. The proposal passed. It will be effective next season, pending BOD ratification.

6) Carol Preston presented a proposal to add a Womens Veteran Class, as published in the April 2009 magazine. This was the second vote on the proposal, and the proposal passed. It will become effective next season, pending BOD ratification.

New Business:

1) A Team scoring matter was addressed. Dirt Poor Racing petitioned the Committee to allow another score to be used, replacing the rider removed earlier in the season. The petition was voted down.

2) A petition was presented by Whitney Jackson to immediately advance three 65C riders, using the Supplementary Advancement System (Chapter VI,section C.,4). The petition was voted down.

3) There were two changes made to Chapter VII, section C.,2. That section reads in part “For all lowest division classes (Ex:…Junior B, Mini C, etc.),with the exception of Golden Master, Evolution…)
CHANGE Junior B to Junior C
REMOVE the Evolution exception

4) Jonny Simpkins expressed concerns about the potential dangers of man made obstacles (i.e., Endurocross sections). The topic was discussed.

The tentative Hare Scrambles dates for the 2009/2010 season were accepted.

A motioned to adjourn was made and seconded. The meeting adjourned at 8:50.
