Thank You |
I'd like to extend my sincere appreciation to all of FTR for their support in an unfortunate incident that occurred after the 10am Sunday Sunrunners Hare Scramble. I finished the event but unfortunately required medical assistance for heat exhaustion and dizziness. After finishing the race, I got back to my truck, took off my helmet, and nearly passed out. Hands and legs were numb, vision was blurry, and could barely walk. Two gentlemen named Brian and Mike helped me undress down to my shorts and kept pouring water over my body well as provided drinks. They called for medical attention as well and Jen from the med was great. Thank you so much for all your help Jen. There were several other FTR mom's and wives (forgive me for not remembering your name right now) who provided a banana, strawberry yogurt, and other types of support. Thank you all so very much. That meant more than you will ever know. I would also like to extend sincere appreciation do Dan Tripp and his son David for loading my bike and gear into the truck. Being the recipient of FTR member generosity is a humbling experience. Lou J. Gabos SRC - #33C, KTM 380 |
