What's Hot

The Racy Gator, put on the by the Central Florida Trail Riders, brought nothing but hot comments from the FTR. If it wasn't the good parking, the huge starting area with no more than 25 bikes on a row, or the super fun PeeWee track, it was the eight quality port-a-lets, complete with hand sanitizer and a mirror. And for us lady racers, you KNOW that's important.

About two hours of racing for most riders (unless you were stuck in the mud) accompanied by half hour breaks in between left you enough time to clean up, wash your face (hopefully), and get back up to the start to watch the next race.

The track had some fun water crossings, a few mud holes, which made for excellent spectating, and lots of good ol' Florida palmettos. You gotta love those palmettos.

And if you got the pre-race jitters, the Fore family provided us with home cooked chow that hit the spot. You can't beat that.

Being the fastest A rider this race (not including AA), Jaco Wolmarans # 26 in A200 finished in the 5th spot overall and beat his class by almost 4 minutes. That is runnin' hot.

In B200, Clay Lyons # 12 was especially hot and won by about 6 minutes to Ruby Bronson # 199. There were a lot of lead changes due to the fact that if you got hung up in the mud it could have been a looooong time before you got out.

In Super-Duper Senior A, Gary Rorstorm # 76 came out with the win right in front of Bob Vaughan # 33. It musta been a tight race because they were battling it out until the chicane and finished within a second of each other. Now that's racing.

In the Super Senior B class, Wade Anderson # 7 and Steve Ness # 23 finished with the same time but got scored as 2nd and 3rd. Is that possible?

Holly Jones #125 smoked 'em in Women B and finished a good 15 minutes in front my girl Kelsey O'Donnell #28 for 2nd place. See ya soon in Women A
girlie.
