What's Hot

It’s not everyday you see a pair of bark busters flying high overhead.  But indeed, Sunday there were a few hot A riders that were clearing that ever so famous water tower jump on the MX course.  Riders like Bobby Moriarty #186AA and Garrett Edmisten # 217A were a couple that I saw making it look easy when we know that it's not.  But hey, who said trailblazers couldn't bust big anyways?

A super course layed out by Bigman and friends greeted the riders after the start returning them to the MX track for a great spectator show.

Team Lutz rider # 813 Nic Frey dominated the B 200 class and won by a minute or so AND was promoted to the A class.  You got to run with the big dogs now buddy. Can you handle it?

Flipper Page #114, one of Florida’s top Motocross Vet riders, displayed his combined talents on Sunday and won Vet A by only a small margin to George Edwards. The number of Vet guys in the 10 o’clock race were running lap times that would have been competitive in the top 20 at 12 0’clock.

My boy David Shade # 79 won the C-200 class by a couple of minutes. Almost ready to move up aren't we?

What's Not
Ice on the seat so cold it was damaging?

Dust on the trail so thick it looked like a blanket.

Rocks so big I bent my front rotor.

Now along with a hard course, come a few hard breaks.  There were a couple of broken collarbones, broken wrists, and a broken femur that led to a 45 minute delay at the start of the 2 o'clock race.  After the rider was hauled out in the Bambalance the race was on and those guys were haulin'.

A hit and run on my brand new old truck, bent it so bad my Dad had to push it out so I could open the door. It might not be much to the jerk who did it but it’s mine and I’m really mad.
