What's Hot

The 11 mile track consisted of huge open straight-aways (headshake was
killer) with seriously majorly whooped out jeep trails (you could practically
triple them). No dust and no mud...definitely a plus.

Is it supposed to be this easy? Jimmy Jarrett # 3 in AA, got out front on the
start and was gone. Hasta la vista. See ya. Adios. See ya 'round.

Kudos go out to the general membership and the clubs of the FTR that
have been opening up their wallets (and their hearts) to the Simpkins family
in supporting  Jonny's brother's fight with cancer.  How cool is that?

One thing is becoming apparent, the newly formed Quad Senior class is for the
most part, girls! Or rather I should say women.  (FYI - Any girl that races
is a woman).  Keep it on the gas ladies, it's cool seeing those ponytails in
there & up front.

What's Not

Who's your Daddy? My boy David Storey # 134 in Junior B was probably asked
this when he took himself out and ended up breaking his shoulder blade.  =(
He was top 5 in points before his big break but no worries, we have 4 more to
go.

After I picked myself off the ground several times in practice, my radiator
started to loose coolant and dad says melted the cylinder head o-rings. (Oh
really, right...I didn't know I had those things). So there I was scroungin'
around to find a bike to race before the start and taping paper plates on it
to show my number.  I sure looked like a spode but I ended up winning.
Thanks Keith!
