Important Notice

The Hare Scrambles Committee has determined that it is ILLEGAL for anyone to ride both the Mini and Junior classes. If a rider is old enough to be eligible for both classes, they will only be allowed to ride in one or the other, not both. Naturally, the proper displacement motorcycle will be required for the class that is entered. This was discussed at a Hare Scrambles meeting on February 21, 1998 and documented in the May 1998 magazine: “Rule Clarification Mini riders are the Youth division Jr riders are the Specialty division. A division is like A,B,C 12 o’clock, 10 o’clock. You can only ride one division per weekend no mini riders can ride in the Jr class or Jr riders ride in the mini class these are two separate divisions this is contained in the May 1995 magazine page 19.” This would apply to Mini and Women’s classes, also. While riders have been competing in both classes for the last season or two, it will no longer be allowed, in light of the documentation that has been brought to the Committee’s attention. ALSO All clubs present at the Sanction Meeting at Richloam on May 18, 2002 agreed that all Peewee races would start at 4:00 pm.
