| Thank-You |
| I would
like to thank everyone who helped us out at MX World in Orlando last week when my 8 year
old soon crashed out and had to be rushed to the hospital. I don't know many of your names
for this is our first season in mx racing and to the FTR. Your actions were above any
words I can describe some of you had words for my child that I would have said but
couldn't at the time, for I was feeling so much guilt and sadness for seeing him in so
much pain that I felt like crying along with him. Some even fought to hold his hand to
comfort him and I even noticed some of you with tears in your eyes as he was taken away in
the rescue. Seeing these action from you people at a very trying time in my personal life
were I had given up humanity and questioned myself if their was any good left in people in
this world really lit my life up again you will never know what it meant. I am happy to report that he had a successful surgery last Tuesday to repair his broken ankle they had to put in a couple screws. He was released from the hospital on Saturday and is fine and in no pain the only pain and tears he has is for his inability to be able to compete again for some time and possibly not being able to compete in winning the series in his class. On Sunday he insisted that I carry him and put him on his fourwheeler so he can ride around the yard after convincing his mom he did. I asked him after his surgery if he still wanted to race hoping in the back of my mind he would say no.he said between his tears that was the only thing he wanted to to do and to please not take that from him. When asked why his response was that for now that his only way to get close to flying until he is old enough to take flying lessons, so he can one day become a fighter pilot. I never knew that was his goal in life. I guess some good has came out of this setback. I learned that their is still a lot of good people in this world and I came out understanding my child a little better and I am sure by the time this is over I will have become a lot closer to him and to my family, again Thank You.
