What is the best combo for our area? I've seen several suggest 110 main and 17.5 pilot with the snorkel removed. I've also seen some go to a 20 pilot. What have others here found to be a good combo?

Shawn, On our TTR125 we went to a 17.5 pilot to solve a hard to start (lean) condition that most have. Mainly first start or after setting. If I remember right, that is the largest Yamaha offers. Main jet was good, But I went up one or two sizes to richen. There is a passage way in the bottom of the bowl which can plug up causing the choke not to function. Once we found that other issues where solved. Hope that helped. comphit

These are actually for Suzuki DR125 but I think they are just about the same.

Some notes from my maintenance log......
Note: I removed air box restriction snorkel, and made exhaust less restricted
I've done two of these bikes. I use one often. The other was for my cousin in law.

Spec: Stock is horrible if you let it breathe (Stock PJ=17.5, Main 102.5).
Works: (20P, 107.5M, -3.5FS, O Ring shim under lifting needle slightly)
CURRENT: (works great) P22.5, M107.5, FS-1.25 and plastic shim under needle clip (Erik’s bike I used a rubber o ring). If you go back to 20P for hot weather, go FS-3.25.
