Next up for Hare Scrambles is the OSDR Melon Bash. We are back at The Farm in Punta Gorda.

Same location as the last few years, the entry off State Road 31 is new and improved, thank you
Charlotte County.
The Club has been out working on the course a few times already. As always we are adding in some new areas, refining the overall experience for the racers and spectators.

Parking area will be marked off with fire lanes, please be diligent when parking to allow access for others and safety teams.

We are changing the routing at the jump to allow better and safer spectating.

We plan on improved starting grid area and pit area for the racers and spectators.

We plan on using the Sunday creek crossings again this year, we may add more, this will be a surprise!

We have Scooters Shark Shack returning.

Contact Pete Rose - info on our flyer if you want to work this event. We ask that you contact the club prior to the event for work credit requests.

More soon.

Build bridges over the water if it's going to be cold! We all live in FL and don't want any hypothermia cases...

Looking forward to this event, always a great time and nobody will go hungry with Scooters Shark Shack in the house. Glad to hear we get to cross the creek again and with some added trails it will be a great course.

Saturday course is 7.5 miles.
Sunday course is 12.9 miles.
Pee Wee is .5+ miles.
OSDR Club Members have been working hard to add in additional technical sections and reduce open fields sections. We have a bit of everything, sand, palmettos, oaks hammocks, palm hammocks, water crossings, mud, open, tight, even a couple oh shit.
Hope everyone makes the trip down to our event.
