Just saw this. Proposed ATV Park between Gainesville and Ocala. See article: https://www.ocala.com/news/20200613/residents-farm-groups-oppose-atv-park-in-rural-flemington

It is in Flemington - half-way between Gainesville and Ocala, just west of I75 (near Williston and Reddick). Of course the local residents are against it because they would rather watch TV. I don't know the owners or anyone involved, but still I have written to the Marion County Commission to support this plan, since I am the FTR Director for this area. I urge all FTR members and interested parties to do the same.

Kind of interesting to watch the test ride video. Lots of side by sides. I think I counted three or four bikes and even some helmets.

I am writing this letter to express my support for the ATV park proposed in Marion County. It is shameful that people who enjoy the sport of offroad motorcyle, and other Offroad Vehicle types, don't have adequate places to enjoy their passion.
It is up to private land owners to recognize and help provide this opportunity.

Well, what did we expect? But, of course they approved another Dollar General store at adjoining location. We really need more of those! Well, at least there is this: “That does not mean this gentleman cannot have himself and a hundred of his buddies out there on ATVs all weekend long,” . They say that now, but wait until he tries it.
