At 8, he's still eligible for peewee. If the Z50R is a 50cc with auto clutch and wheels less than 12 inches, he could use that in the Peewee-C class to get his feet wet.

This is like a very valid concern. The parents / members are going to have to step up and do what they can to prevent this type of activity. Some have suggested that a rule might solve this problem....
