Default Help! Snowshoe GNCC

Does anyone want to share a ride to Snowshoe? I can either ride with you or you can ride with me, I have a Chevy van that can only hold 2 bikes but can seat 3, I don`t fancy driving all that way on my own and would like to share the cost of travel and hotel. I plan to leave friday morning early . call me 945-849-6476 I am located in South florida .

Looks like no one can team up with me.
Guess I better stock up on Red Bull and 5hr energy shots....
hope I can meet up with someone there.
Wish me luck in the Masters A class.

Default Congrats!

A round of applause for Dave on his top 10 finish at Snowshoe. It looks like it was another tough one.

Thanks Ty!
It was very tough and a little on the frustrating side, I managed to do 4 laps, I could have done more but the mountain side had well over 150 bikes blocking my way, once you stopped you were done! no way to get up the mountain other than this:
1) Try to kick start bike on 45 degree gradient mountain side strewn with rocks....
2) once started put in first gear and pin it while throwing bike up mountain....
3) congratulations, you just got 10 feet closer to the top...
4) pick up bike that`s now upside down with 100lbs of mud on it....
5) repeat all the above another 30 times...
I must admit it got me frustrated, half the riders never even made it up once!, luckily I made it twice, the course was very rocky huge boulders and wet with the steepest gradients I ever rode on, if you took good lines you were OK, if another rider blocked your path, your done! . I call it the "race that is not a race" I never felt like I was racing.... just surviving. The Florida round of the GNCC is much harder!
