Default 2019 Banquet

Wanted to get this info out to the membership so everyone can mark their calender's.
After a lot of investigating and comparing everything, we have inked a deal with the convention center again at Daytona. Our date will be August 3, 2019.
This year will be a sit down dinner with lots of prizes and awards and the vendor area will be eliminated this time as to allow for more time during the day to enjoy the Daytona surroundings.
Darlene Riggs has volunteered to head up the event this year and will be reaching out for ideas and some support. More info will be coming as we get closer to the event but wanted to announce the date and location so plans can be made.

Randy

I was thinking some seminars would be good...

Suspension (TF, Factory Connection, etc.)
Rekluse
Riding tips (Jessey, or other top guys)
Training tips (MotoE, Baker's Factory, etc.)
Gear Company presentations (EVS, Leatt, MSR, 6D, Alpinestars, etc.)

Seminars would be a healthy addition to the evening along with some question and answer segments.

I think I made that suggestion, but it was too late at that time for the one coming up.

Also - maybe first aid / CPR / what to do for rider down.

From what I can see looks like a Buffet dinner with door prizes and of course the Trophies. Heard probably no rider interviews to keep it moving along quickly. Is this accurate? Any further information available as to the itinerary would be appreciated.

Yes, that is accurate. Four buffet lines, assigned to individual tables in order to get everyone served quickly. Overall, it is intended to be much shorter than previous years.

Trophy class order will be mixed sequence.

Heard something about ice-cream stand for the kids.

"Sunday best" attire, I am told. No bathing suits.

No exhibitors or vendors.

Door prizes and raffles.
