Cool G2 Helmet Cam / Master B * H/S #3

Fellow FTR Friends,

I have just posted, Master B / Take 2- by:G2

It is my second attempt creating a video.
I intended to make a shorter one than the first one, but I was out of control and posted way too much footage.
So, view till your bored, or do it in segments.

The story I am trying to tell is: what its like to be out there at one of these events.
As far as the riding is concerned, I left the whole first lap completely unedited.
And then starting on lap two I just left in the parts of when I got passed by each rider while they were on their way to the front. Some of my racer friends had to rub it in by passing me twice ! (Mike D, Steve T and Robbie C)
Darn guys, that hurt.

I got a great start, which is not so good for the video.
We had a full line of 38 riders, of which I ended up 23rd at just two laps, not three.
It is more fun trying to get to the front, than being at the front and getting passed.
Other than being absolutely exhausted, I had a wonderful time for about a half an hour.
From there, everything went downhill, or should I say uphill. What I mean is, it all got worse as time went on.
But, I must say, I'm glad I went, I had a lot of fun (for a little while!)

Anyway, here is the link to my Master B helmet cam video.
It can also be found on Vimeo under G2 or Glenn Gardner.

Thanks for viewing, I certainly enjoyed making it.

Sincerely,

Glenn Gardner...G2photosmx.com

Glenn you showed some real "A class" speed bro, you were layin the wood DOWN! It can be a challenge managing your race from the leed and there is definitely a different kind of pressure on you to stay there, wondering all the time if your pushing it enough not to be caught. That alone can tire you out.
The video was awesome! I love the pre race interaction, after that I put on the headset cranked it up sat back and enjoyed the music and riding it again. One more thing... that Randy Faul is the man isn't he? Thanks for sharing the whole experience!!!

Thumbs up Ohhhh....

... so thaaat's what the course looked like! I think I actually saw about half of it on my first two laps, and can't remember much of anything about the third lap - or how I got home.

Nice work Glen. I dig the pre and post race segments. That's a big part of what we keep coming back for.

+1 Ty

Glenn, I knew you must of been tired or something. Good ride....I wish I could say I was first at any point of any race in our class. I guess starting 34thish doesn't make it an easy task. I was toast after the second lap as well. I want to thank the nice young man in the pit area that gave me some water while I contemplated continuing. I couldn't have made it without your help.

Keep em coming Glenn!! You'll be finishing strong soon I'm sure. I think both of us would benefit from some break in the temp. Those that handled it well....Congrats and well done.
