FTR Benefit Event 11/20/04
Meeting was called to order at 7:04 PM

Minutes from 5/8/04 were read, corrected, and accepted as corrected.
Reports from Officers;
Randy Faul gave a brief report on the importance of clubs insisting armbands
are required to be worn on the wrist of entents entering the course. It has
come to our attention some are placing them elsewhere and using them for
non-entered riders to gain access to the course.
Old Business;
None
New Business;
Due to the cancellation of the BAD event, a Sanction for a new event became
available for the second half of the season. Applications for the event were
made by CFTR, SADRA, Suncoast, and FTR. After much discussion a motion was
brought forth by the Chairman which stated;
Motion to re-scedule the existing Rain date to May 28-29 2005, thereby making
the date April 9-10 2005 available for a Sanction to be granted to FTR for
the purpose of holding a second Benefit event. Seconded, Unanimous approved.
To be forwarded to the Executive Committee for final approval.
Motion by the Chairman to allow all further Sanctioned events to adjust
the PeeWee race start time to 11AM. Start time must be included in the
event flyer. Seconded, Unanimous approval. No further action required.
Topic of Discussion;
The topic of creating decibel limits on competition machines was brought forward
by the Referee. After much discussion it was agreed by all that FTR should
enlist equipment offered by the Division of Forestry and begin random testing
to determine what the proper means of testing and limits will be for the
future of FTR.
A motion to adjourn was seconded, Unanimous approved.
