MINUTES OF THE FTR
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING
A meeting of the Florida Trail Riders Executive Committee was called
to order at approximately 7:06 PM on November 19, 2005 at FTR Hare Scrambles
Sign-Up Trailer. The President determined a quorum was present. Roll
call was as follows:

Sam Mento, Enduro Committee Chairman
Absent:
David Hall, MX Committee Chairman

III.New Business
A long discussion was held to find ways to help the new Quad Scrambles
Series during this first year. No motions were made, but several tasks
were agreed for follow up with the QS competition committee. A follow
up meeting of the Executive Committee will be scheduled soon after the
next QS event.
Jim reported on the outcome of the recent Florida OHV Advisor Committee.
Several grants were approved by the committee and much progress has been
made to establish OHV riding opportunities in the state of Florida.
Low volunteer turnout at the FTR Benefit events was also discussed.
Joe agreed to work with the HS competition committee to draft a proposal
that addresses this issue.
The meeting was adjourned at approximately 9:10 PM.
