MX Committee Meeting Minutes

12/02/06

Called to order at 7:05p.m

Old Business

1) Plus 50 class addition first vote 09/09/06, printed magazine November, 7-0 second vote passed.

2) Addition of a 125 and 250 2-Stroke classes first vote 09/09/06, printed magazine November, 1-6 second vote failed.

New Business

1) Increase of the displacement of 2-stroke motorcycles to 145cc for the 125 A,B,C and 13-15 Youth classes, as follows:

Reason - Manufactures are producing larger displacement bikes for the 2-Strokes to compete in the 125 classes and Youth. KTM has a 144cc on the market at this time.

Reason: As the motorcycle industry switches from 2 Stroke to 4 Stroke, rules will need to be updated to keep pace with new models.

Change Rule:

DNF (did not finish) - a rider that does not complete half of the scheduled laps of a moto.

To Read:

DNF (did not finish) - a rider that does not take the checkered flag and complete half of the scheduled laps of a moto.

First vote 7-0 passed.

4) The MX Committee, after discussion and vote, has awarded the TBA date on our schedule to Moroso Motorsports Park MX.
