Executive Committee Meeting
11/18/06
A meeting of the Florida Trail Riders Executive Committee was called
to order at approximately 7:10 p.m. on November 18, 2006 at the FTR Benefit
Hare Scramble. The president determined a quorum was present.
Roll call was as follows:

I. Old Business
None.
II. New Business
Marc Allen presented his scoring system called Race Wurx. The system
was very user-friendly. He would like to make the system available for
the members to access. Allen Pearce moved that we allow our database
to be used on the Race Wurx system. The motion was seconded and passed
unanimously.
TCTR is requesting to change their Hare Scramble date from January 20 & 21,
2007 to the March 17 & 18, 2007 rain date. This is the Orlando Supercross
weekend so it may not be the best weekend for any club to take. Joe Steidl
moved that TCTR be granted the change in date after he follows-up on
possible changes to the March 24 & 25, 2007 race date. The motion was
seconded and passed unanimously.
SEFTR is requesting to re-schedule their cancelled Hare Scramble from
December 9 & 10, 2006 to the May 12 & 13, 2007 rain date. Jim Wilder
moved to grant the re-scheduling of the Hare Scramble. The motion was
seconded and passed unanimously.
Allen Pearce moved to change the RCDR Enduro sanction on May 6, 2007
to the Apollo club on the same date. The motion was seconded and passed
unanimously. Dan George was directed to send a bill to Apollo for the
sanction fee.
A request from Ed Bull to send a special advertising mailer to the membership
was discussed. Randy Faul moved that the membership mailing list should
not be used for advertising. The motion was seconded and passed unanimously.
A new generator has been purchased for the scoring trailer. Randy is
going to place an ad on the forum for the old generator.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
