MINUTES OF THE FTR
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING
A special ad hoc meeting of the Florida Trail Riders Executive Committee
was called to order at approximately 8:20 PM on October 28, 2003 via
conference call to handle an error on the election ballot printed in
the latest magazine. The President determined a quorum was present.

Jim Wilder, Secretary
Lee Daley, Enduro Committee Chairman
Jim Edgar, MX Committee Chairman
Mike Preslar, Hare Scramble Committee Chairman
Cheryl Horn, Treasurer
I. Reports of officers and committees
Although the meeting was called
for a special issue, Randy provided a brief update on the FTR Benefit
Race. Although the final accounting
has not been completed,
all indications are pointing to record turnout and record proceeds. The
landowner was very pleased with the event and the way the race
was conducted.
Lee Daley announced his intention to resign as Enduro Chairman
as soon as a suitable replacement could be found.
II. Unfinished
business
None.
III. New Business
Jim W made the following motion: We correct the ballot
by a separate mailing to be sent to all FTR members reflecting all
nominations received. The
misprinted ballot as found in the FTR magazine on page 35 of
vol 39-9 is considered
invalid and ballots received on this form will be corrected
by a follow up phone call
with the member. The motion was adopted unanimously.
The meeting
was adjourned at approximately 9:00 PM.
