Pre-Modern Question

Hello All,
I have previously raced in the beginner and sportsman classes but I have never ridden in the pre-modern class. I recently picked up a craigslist find to build a bike as a replica from one I rode when I was a teenager. I looked online at the FTR Rule book and I came up with a few questions.

1) The class line item says 20 yrs or older, does that go from the start of the season date, previous year, end of season date? I am assuming since we are in 2020, I would be allowed to run a 2000 or older bike?

2) I noticed the pre-modern only has an A and B class, no C or Beginner. Would I be safe as a 3rd - 5th place beginner rider in the pre-modern B class? And if I did race in the Pre-Modern B Class, would I be allowed to race 35+ C the next season or would I have to remain in B?

Just thinking it would be fun to ride that bike for a season. Thank you.

20 years from the start of the season, correct, 2000 my is legal.
You can still race C class on Sunday, since pre mod B is the lowest class available to enter. Saturday & Sunday point totals and promotions are separate.
