Vision Problems

For the last three seasons I have had visions problems while racing. Some races no problems and other times bad vision. Typically starts out blurry and then can't see depth. Had my eyes tested and I have very little moisture in my eyes. This is common in men over 50. Started using hydration drops and this would work for a lap or two. Did some research and found that flax seed oil taken daily helps. I also started using GenTeal Severe dry eye relief. It is a lubricant eye gel. I put it in before practice and also before the race. It takes about 5 minutes before you can see clearly but it works great. I have not had any problems the last two races and ran 1 1/2 laps without goggles and had no problems. Had I done that before, I wouldn't have gone but a couple of miles before bad vision.
Hope this can help any other racers with their vision while racing.
